The National Federation of the Blind Launches Its
National Meet the Blind Month
Meet the Blind Month (MTBM) is a coordinated campaign intended to create opportunities for Americans to meet blind people and learn firsthand about our lives. NFB affiliates and chapters invite residents to join them as they hold meet and greets, state conventions, walk-a-thons, picnics, fundraising dinners, and other events.
